My breath came out in a sharp puff. I did my best to push him away, grunting and shoving. He watched me, his face blank and his eyes hot.
The moment I stopped thrashing about, he leaned in and gave me a harsh, biting kiss. He groaned into my mouth. “Charlie.”
“Okay,” I gasped. “Okay. Yes. Let’s...no. No, let’s not.”
“No?” He’d been rubbing against me slowly, making me feel his erection, and he stopped with a quiet sigh.
“No. I mean, yes. But not here.”
“Why not here?” he whispered, nudging my head to one side and sucking on my neck.
I shivered and clutched at him. “We’re in the garage.”
“Yeah.”
He spoke against my damp skin, his breath first heating then cooling it.
“There are other things in the garage,” I said.
“Mm-hmm?” He tilted my jaw and went for the other side of my neck.
“Like…like mice. And spiders. Beetles. Ants. Probably moths.” My head fell back and I panted up at the dusty, cobwebbed rafters as he bit and sucked at my sensitised skin. “And whatever the hell is hanging up there in the corner. Whatisit?”
Kevin followed my gaze. “Wasp nest.”
I went rigid.
He, on the other hand, went limp. He sagged with disappointment as he said, “You’re not going to let me fuck you here, are you?”
“I can’t say that I’m in the mood for getting my dick out if there’s a chance of it getting swarmed by wasps mid-coitus.”
He snorted. “There isn’t a swarm. I said itlookslike a wasp nest. Looks like an old one, too. Besides, even if theywere swarming about up there, I don’t think they’d be all that interested in your dick. Unlike me.” He lifted his eyebrows but he didn’t touch me.
I shook my head.
He growled playfully, gave my neck one last little nip, and pushed back.
“I’m sorry, Kevin.”
“Nah,” he said. “Don’t be sorry.” He pulled me away from the wall, refastened my shorts, and turned me to face the door. “You go on into the house and leave me to it. I’ll have a quick wank, get on with sorting your boxes, and then I’ll come and give you a good seeing-to before supper.”
“Okay,” I said. “That sounds great. I’ll—hang on. You’re going to what?”
“Give you a good seeing-to.”
“Before that. You’re going to have a quick wank?”
“Yeah.” He palmed himself. “I’m right riled up. I can’t turn it off like you can.”
“I didn’t turn it off.” I’d gone from a full boil to a light simmer, that was all. Because of wasps and mice. I think that was perfectly understandable.
Kevin shrugged.
“I didn’t!” I said. “I just can’t relax out here. It’s not my idea of a good time. It’s all…” I gestured around me. “Dust and junk and dark corners.” And mice and spiders and wasps. “It’s hardly romantic.”
“Aw. You want me to romance you, sweetheart?”
Yes. “Not in here.”
