It only takes a few minutes to wipe the toys down, making sure they’re still in good condition before setting them aside to be put away in the morning—maybe I’ll make Antonio do that.

When I slide into bed, my brat immediately wraps himself around me. “What did the Stars say?”

“They’re on their way home. Everything is running as smoothly as it’s supposed to at the whorehouse. Our reputation is on a steady climb, and any clients we lost due to the raid are either finding their way back or being replaced with new ones. Angel has it well in hand.”

“Good.” I hesitate before asking, “Do you think you’ll move back there eventually? I know that was your full-time position at one point.”

He looks up at me. “The Family needs me right now, and…I don’t want to be away from you, Daddy. I know you’re needed with the Council, you’re important as a Voice.”

“You’re important too, Bello.”

He shrugs. “It’s different now, because I can’t be Ghost as much. I’m too noticeable, even with the plastic surgery.”

Brushing my fingers lightly over his still-healing skin, I say, “You’re important, Antonio. In any of the jobs you do.”

He brightens, my praise lighting up the parts of him that are still so desperate for affection. It’s part of why I have a hard time letting my anger and hatred at Sandro go, knowing he didn’t nourish these softer, vulnerable parts of my Bel Fiore properly.

I understand nuances, and know that their relationship was different than the friendship they have now, but being Antonio’s Daddy means looking out for his well-being in all aspects, and some things are hard to let go. Though with Tennant now doing…whatever it is he’s doing with Sandro, I need to find a way to…tolerate the former Martelli Boss. IfTen, of all people, can find something worthy in him, maybe he’s not such a heartless bastard. Maybe.

I make no promises. My protectiveness, not only of my Boys, but all my lovers, means finding the correct balance is hard. Though there’s hope with knowing Ian is here to make sure no one is abusing their positions when it comes to power dynamics anymore. The guy gives off“Will kill you if I need to”vibes, and I am okay with that if it means those I claim as mine are safe.

“Angel is good at her job,” Antonio says, getting back to the subject. “I think if the twins and I continue to supervise, but take a more hands-off approach, it’ll be okay, at least for now. Maybe things will change in the future, but at the moment, we’re doing okay.”

“Either way, we’ll make it work. I don’t like the idea of you, or Nario and Nicolo, being away from me, but we’ll do what we have to, okay?”

“I trust you to make it right.”

“And I will.”

Shifting us, I kiss him deeply, rolling him onto his back as I glide a hand down his body, enjoying the way he squirms against the sheets as his bruised ass presses against the bed.

“I think I made you a promise, Bello,” I tell him, nudging my half-hard cock against him.

“Yes, Daddy, you did.”

“On your side then.” I nudge him into position, then reach for the lube, slicking my cock.

His hole is already soft and pliable, my cum dripping out of him still, so it’s an easy slide in.

I press myself flush against him, throwing a leg over his, and rest my arm underneath his head. I press a kiss to his hair. “Goodnight, Bello.”

“Night, Daddy. Love you.”

I kiss him again. “I love you too.”

I won’t sleep until our Boys are home and in bed with us, but Antonio trusts me enough to care for them that he falls into a deep sleep, even while he holds my cock deep inside him.

When the twins arrive not long after, they don’t hesitate to climb into bed with us, and I press another kiss to Antonio’s head, as I can finally relax enough to drop into sleep, surrounded by my Boys. I don’t think there’s anything more perfect than this. Well…maybe Roman’s orgy bed. But for now, this is all I need.

“You okay, Love?”

I look over at Keegan, meeting his foggy eyes as he squeezes my hand. I go to reassure him, but what actually comes out is, “No, I’m not.”

Marcus wraps his arm around me from the other side, holding me close as Keegan studies my face. “You can talk about it, if you need to. We’re here.”

Swallowing, I have to look away from Keegan’s intense, all-too-knowing gaze. The car stops and I look out the window at the familiar warehouse. Something in my chest tightens at seeing the unassuming exterior, knowing the horrors that live inside the walls.

“I…haven’t been inside since I killed my brother,” I whisper. “When we learned about Jude’s family, Cris and I came to support Roman with whatever decision he made, but we didn’tgo inside. I couldn’t… I… Fuck, I didn’t realize it would still be so hard.”
