“Good?” he asked.

“Yes, that’s perfect,” Willow said. “Thank you!”

Kex gave her a kind smile, then turned to me and gave me a hot kiss and nipped my lip. “Hurry back to my side, my mate. I don’t like you being out of my sight.”

“Love you too,” I told him and patted his chest before shooing him back to the others. When I turned to the other women, they were all watching me, some with wide eyes, others with grins.

“You absolutely fucked the locals, didn’t you?” Cindy asked.

I snorted. “What part of alien married did you miss?”

“Okay, so what’s the peen situation like?” she asked.

I laughed and passed out bars of soap and scrub brushes as they stripped down.

“They are not exactly human dicks,” I said after a moment.

Cindy gasped. “Oh, it’s alien Christmas for sure. Tell me more.”

All eyes were on me and I felt a little self-conscious. “Well, the ormonai are a bit bigger than us humans in general, and things are proportional, and it has a few other features as well. Oh, and I have clean clothes in this bag when you’re done,” I said, and started making a pile of shirts and pants. “We didn’t bring shoes because we were limited on space, so we’ll have to scrub those still.”

“Girl, you cannot leave us hanging like that,” Cindy said, the soap in her hand forgotten. “Do you know how many monsterfucker books I’ve read? This is like literally my dream.”

I sighed. Talking about something from a book was a lot easier than talking about something you’d held in your hand, mouth, and other places. “Well, when he’s close to the end, the end of his dick kind of swells a little. Not in a scary way but in kind of a fun way, and then when he... finishes, the end starts pulsing in like a fun toy kind of way and it doesn’t stop for a while. Oh, and there are ridges.” I didn’t think I could mention the maple-syrup cum. That would just have to be a surprise if any of them decided to experiment.

“This is literally the best news I’ve heard all year.” Cindy frowned. “Does this whole soulmate thing mean that they don’t fool around, or will I be able to find an alien dude willing to let me ride that joystick just for funsies?”

I laughed. “I’ll have to ask Kex. I know that non-soulmate relationships happen, but I don’t really know the extent.”

“Yeah, you do that,” Cindy said, remembering the soap in her hand. She started to wash. “Oh, what about the tabby man? What’s he got going on?”

I snorted. “He’s my mate’s best friend, so I haven’t fucked him.”

“Okay, but did you ask?”

“No, but he is really into romance books and he sort of recited a few on our journey to keep me and Kex entertained.” At Cindy’s wide-eyed expression, I shrugged. “I told you, marshmallow. Anyway, one of the stories was about this species whose dicks are like, made up of a number of teeny tentacles, so they look more like a curly bush until he gets aroused and then they come together to make a shaft.”

“Tentacle dick,” Cindy said, like she’d just pulled a really cool Pokémon card. “Is that species into casual sex?”

I laughed at her eager face. “I have no idea, but we can ask Kex. I don’t remember what they are called.”

“If it’s from a book, it has to be made up though, right?” Cassy asked.

“No, Rainair, the tabby man, he reads books from all over the galaxy, and they hold as much truth as a non-genre romance on Earth. And Rainair said he and Kex served with a dude of that species when they were in the war and that he peed out of just one of the tentacles, but all the others were able to shoot his load.”

“Wow,” Cindy said, a wistful expression on her face.

“What war?” Jen asked.

I sighed, and explained what little I’d learned from Kex and Rainair. “The empire did a lot to help those displaced from the preflight planet. They are serious about what you might call humanitarian efforts for people who aren’t humans.”

“That should mean we’re safe then, but you said we aren’t?” Harper asked.

“Bureaucratic bullshit, remember?” I sighed, and decided a bath after our journey would be nice, and joined them in the river. “There are good aliens and bad aliens, just like humans. The good thing is that Kex has some power and influence on this planet, so he will keep us safe until everything is sorted. We can make a life here.” I believed it when I said it, and I hoped they did too.
