For Chasin Carver, the possibilities were endless. With his family having founded Carver, Connecticut, he had full permission to do whatever he wanted, and he usually did. His family’s wealth was the envy of the entire city, and everyone who was anyone wanted a piece of what it meant to be a Carver. With his parents too busy to rein him in, he had no qualms about wreaking havoc wherever he went.

Nevertheless, for all his wealth, power, and privilege, there was one thing that he couldn’t have, and time was running out with graduation only three months away. There was a big difference between using something and owning it…or rather, someone. With time rapidly ticking away, being a Carver meant not being afraid to fight dirty, and that was something that he was definitely good at.

For Jett Morgan, the possibilities were limited down to one, and that was getting the hell out of Carver, Connecticut. On paper, her life looked ideal, and there were plenty of people that would love to have her life. Her family had money, she went to a prestigious school, and she was smart as hell. Honestly, it was a life that most people dreamed of, even if she was the only one that knew the truth.

Nevertheless, for all her demons and personal issues, she only had to wait it out for three more months before she could graduate, then leave the city of Carver behind for good. Though her parents had no clue of her plans, as a legal adult, she wasn’t obligated to share her decisions with them anymore. After all, if they really cared, then she wouldn’t be doing her best to run far, far away. Right?
