I thought I’d forged my own path by going into construction instead of the family’s horse ranch. But the very man who taught me everything I knew left me with a mess to clean up.

Thanks to the fine print my grandfather added on a loan, I need to get married and stay married till the end of March. I’m not even sure if I believe in love and happily ever afters, at least not for me.
