An Eshu's Little Helper

Essen Sharpe is the princess of the Sons of Eshu. Being the baby sister of the president, she can snap a finger and end a life. She can also cause someone to lose their life by getting too close. Despite her pull, the twenty-seven-year-old prides herself on being an asset to her family instead of a liability. So when a member of S.O.E. enlists the event coordinator’s services, Essen doesn’t second-guess agreeing to help with the winter event. She isn’t fazed that the requester is The Grinch, and it never crosses her mind that she may be the answer to someone’s Christmas wish.

Loso Bricks is the heart of S.O.E. He’s been a part of the family since the beginning, and considering his best friend is the president, loyalty has always come easy. Now, in a season of renewal, the mechanic is taking steps to rid his heart of winter blues. December has always unveiled some of his deepest heartaches, and Christmas has been the root of his irritation. When left with no choice but to join the holiday festivities, Loso reaches out for help that leads to new traditions everyone may not approve of.

Following the blueprint, Loso and Essen have long ago checked each other off their lists, yet a business proposition and spiked eggnog could land them both on Santa’s hit list.
